As a student new to CDE, I look forward to learning more about the various cultural differences between the West and China, and hopefully look to gain more knowledge and a new perspective on current affairs around the world.
The first lesson on CDE gave me a general idea on what to expect, which got me very excited about the up-and-coming lessons. Through the few HSBC videos which were shown in class, we were introduced to some of the different cultures, and the eventful misunderstandings which follow. This has changed my view towards what CDE was, so I am looking forward to the next CDE lesson.
CDE, as a new course, will definitely help in my understanding of Western culture and society, holding high expectations from the new things which I can get out from this course.
